About

My name is Sinclair Rishel. In addition to working as a freelance literary consultant, I also work as the associate editor of a small publishing company. I ghostwrite blog posts on the side, and when I’m not working on bringing more books into the world, I’m knitting and hanging out with my two dogs (pictured below).

I am a Poynter News U-certified copy editor. I have experience working in both Chicago and AP style. I have worked in the publishing field since 2015, and I have been involved in every step of the publishing process, from reviewing submissions to selling books at events.

My ghostwriting experience includes everything from writing for newly-started blogs to writing articles for a hospital marketing magazine with an 800,000-person distribution list. I have experience writing search engine-optimized posts on a wide variety of topics.

As for social media, I have worked off and on as a social media coordinator since 2014. One of the companies I work for experienced a 900% increase in Facebook impressions within six months of my taking over their social media.

I am happy to discuss projects face-to-face or remotely, depending on your preferences.
